Storyboard Text

  • Do you see that horrible outfit Jane is wearing? She is so ugly.
  • OMG!!
  • I wish my friends would stop.
  • I hate myself.
  • Hey Jane! Are you coming to prom tonight?
  • Ew. Sammy, don't talk to her! She's such a LOSER!
  • Why doesn't anyone like me?
  • You're so dumb, Jane!
  • Ugh. I can't stand this.
  • Sammy's friends, Ali & Tess, always pick on Jane. Sammy is getting tired of hearing her friends bully Jane and wish that they would stop, but she is afraid that her friends will kick her out of their social circle.
  • Jane! Wait up! What are you doing after school?
  • ???????
  • Sammy tries to be nice to Jane by acknowledging her in the hallway, but her friends quickly shut her down. They again are publicly attacking Jane by calling her a loser in front of her peers.
  • Jane has no friends!
  • OMG. I can't believe she even showed up! Who would even talk to her?
  • I would talk to her! You guys are so mean. I'm going to hang out with Jane. I think she is cool and I like her shirt!
  • Sammy, thanks for being my friend. I'm having so much fun dancing with you.
  • The teasing and bullying continues, but Sammy is still scared to stand up to her two friends because they are the most popular girls at school.
  • I love being you friend. I am very sorry I didn't stick up to Tess & Ali sooner. Great moves!
  • Sammy's friends aren't anywhere to be seen so she feels more comfortable to reach out to Jane, but Jane doesn't really react because she is anticipating that Sammy will say something mean/hurtful.
  • Sammy has had enough. She doesn't care if her friends kick her out of their circle anymore. She doesn't want to be friends with people who treat others with such disrespect. She is stepping up and admitting to Jane that she should have done this earlier.
  • Sammy and Jane have fun dancing together at prom. Sammy feels so much better about sticking up for her new friend. She is happy that she didn't allow Tess & Ali to control her social life any more.
