Alfred, you see you have no way to prove how the plates move. My theory fixes that problem.
My theory of seafloor spreading explains what happens at mid-ocean ridges. A mid-ocean ridge is an underwater area where oceanic crust is recycled and formed. Magma comes out of the ridge and cools forming new crust and pushes away the older crust; the process is an endless cycle. The process of seafloor spreading is what drives the tectonic plates' motion.
