States of matter explanation
Dear Scientist, The States of matter are solids, liquids, and gas. The reason they are different is how the atoms act. Brianna
A solid is when the atoms are very close together so they do not move very much.
A liquid is when the atoms are close together but have enough room to move.
A gas is when the atoms are spreaded apart so they can move easy and fast.
If you increase the temp for a solid it will become a liquid and if you decrease the temp if will stay the same . A liquid will become a solid if you decrease the temp .
a gas if you increase the temp. A gas will become a liquid if you decrease the temp and will stay the same if you increase the temp.
Thank you Brianna this help me understand the states of matter a lot better. Scientist
