66 AD. Jewish people of Jerusalem, unhappy with Roman rule, rebel and overwhelm the Roman army there.
132 AD- After re-taking the city and continued persecution, Romans ban Jewish people from living in Jerusalem, causing them to spread throughout Europe and Southwest Asia.
392 AD. After Constantine before him converted, Theodosius makes Christianity the official state religion of the Roman Empire.
