  • Act lll, Scene 1
  • O, Pardon me, thou bleeding, piece of earth, That i am meek and gentle with these butchers
  • Rome, The Capitol
  • Artemidorus approaches Caesar with his letter, warning him about the immortality of the Conspirators, but Caesar dismisses the contents of the letter.
  • Act lll, Scene 2
  • The Forum
  • If the that friend demand why, Brutus rose against Caesar, this is my answer: not that I loved Caesar less, but that I loved Rome more
  • The Conspirators successfully complete their mission to assassinate Caesar. Caesar gets stabbed by Casca first and then Brutus last, at the steps of the Capitol.
  • Act lll, Scene 2
  • The Forum
  • After the Conspirators leave, Mark Antony enters and mourns Caesar's death, Antony promises to seek revenge on the Conspirators
  • Act lll, Scene 3
  • A Street
  • During Caesar's funeral, Brutus delivers a speech to the people of Rome.
  • Antony makes a request to speak at Caesar's funeral and Brutus allows him to do so with a few rules. Antony brings the body of Caesar to the crowd.
  • And Brutus is an honorable man
  • Cinna the Poet enters and gets confused with Cinna the Conspirator by the Plebeians. When he gets asked a few questions by them, the Plebeians show no mercy and kill him.
