  • Sara met her friend Hannah at the park to help her figure out some tricks to do while studying.

  • Hypothesis
  • Sara and Hannah come up with their hypothesis on what will improve their test scores. They believe that if they chew the same type of gum while studying and taking the test, they'll be able to remember the material better.
  • I hope we're right, my math test is on Friday!

  • Sara and Hannah create an experiment. While studying, Sara does different actions: first, chew gum; second, listen to music; third: eat a snack, etc. Then she takes multiple tests about the same topic while doing the corresponding actions.
  • Sara and Hannah have calculated the results, and discovered what activity will help Sara improve her test scores.
  • Sara's hypothesis was right! On Friday, she takes her test while chewing gum, and gets 100%. She decides that she will always use this method of studying, so that she can do her very best in school.
