A daughter of Northern french peasants had just turned 13. She started getting visions and voices. These voices said that she had to help Charles the dauphin and drive the English out of France.

After Joan heard the voices she wanted to become a solider. When she reached the fort the general merely laughed at her. Soon she convinced the general to let her fight so, she had a group of soldiers to accompany her.

To travel she had to dress up as a man to be safe .Joan predicted that the priest would find her a suit of armor, and they did. At a monetary near Orleans, held by the English, french soldiers attacked .She lead the french troops across the moat and stormed the city walls. After the victory thirty thousand grateful citizens of Orleans cheered Joan and her troops.
6,000 soldiers prepare to attack Compiegne, a french town near pairs, Joan's army only had 300 soldiers. The french were forced to retreat to Compiegne. After several months the English paid an enormous randsome for her.
The English and the Catholic Church put Joan on trial for witchcraft and heresy. And for spreading beliefs that violate excepted teachings.The bishop drilled Joan with questions, until finally everybody had to watch her burn.
A Hugh crowd gathered on may, 30 to watch Joan burn. Charles remained king for forty years and kicked the English out of France. After investigation Joan as claimed innocent and proved that women can be brave and effective leaders.
