Storyboard Text

  • The world has grown wicked and I'm going to destroy every living thing I have created but you and your family will be saved. I am going to cause a flood so you must build an ark that will float on the water.
  • Food
  • God saw all of the violence around the world so he decided to destroy all of the people and animals he had created. There was one good man who was honest and hard working. This was Noah. God chose to just save Noah, his wife, their 3 sons Shem, Ham and Japheth and all of their wives.
  • Food
  • Noah and his sons Shem, Ham and Japheth built an ark as God instructed them. The wood was from cypress trees. It was big enough to fit all of their family, one male and one female of every type of animal and enough food for all of them.
  • Noah and his family pack enough food then boarded the boat with the animals. Everything was on the boat waiting for the flood to happen.
  • It rained on ark for forty days and forty nights, the water rose higher and higher. Even the highest mountains were under the water. There was no living thing left on earth except for those on the ark.
  • When the rain stopped days past and the waters went down. The ark landed on a Mount Ararat. Noah let a raven out to see if there was any dry land but it was nothing but water. Next he sent out a dove but it couldn't find anything either. 7 days later Noah sent out the dove again and it came back with a leaf of an olive tree. Noah knew that their must be dry land.
  • Noah builds an Altar in thanks and places a sacrifice on it. God said "Your decedents will cover the Earth and it is for you and your children to govern. This rainbow is a sign that the Earth will never be destroyed by a flood. When it rains  a rainbow will appear and you will remember my promise I made to you and every living creature in the world.
