Storyboard Text

  • When Siddhartha was born his parents knew he was a special child as they announced his birth at the palace.
  • Siddhartha's father wanted for him to be king and so showered him in luxurious gifts to distract him from leaving the palace.
  • One day Siddhartha curiously left the palace and went for a ride on his chariot in the countryside.
  • During his journey he came across the four signs; an old man, a sick man, a corpse and a holy man.
  • Siddhartha was influenced by the holy man and wanted to become as content and spiritual as him.
  • At the age of 30, Siddhartha abandoned his lifestyle and became a monk.
