Hey! I'm John and I live in the countryside of Manchester where I used to work in my grandma Tia's farmland. My family and I are planning to move to the cities tomorrow where my aunt lives. She says it's a great place to earn and live a luxurious lifestyle, but very expensive housing rents. Tomorrow I am going to start my new job at the factory in clothing.
This is the clothing factory. I have heard that in this city a lot of new inventions and development have taken place changing impacting the society in a whole. People have now been able to create things faster and are enjoying their luxury with the new inventions created.
Hi! I'm John. I am new here
Hi John! I'm Sahra and I will be showing you the places around here. First of all, we have added a new system of capitalism where privet owners are investing in businesses to help those people but also to earn money themselves. If you take this factory, for example, it has been invested by a private owner and has earned a lot of money.
This town has created many factories. In these factories, there were many children and slaves working in the factories. But now the human rights have changed abolishing child labor and slaves. Now people are paid with full respect and full amount.
In this society, the invention of steam power has really helped the society as a whole. This energy source has led us to new ways of road transportation such as locomotives on rails and tracks. This has made us have easier ways to transport around.
Woah! What is that line of buildings?
Those are a line of factories that are created. In these factories, there are many inventions used such as the power loom. Many of these inventions have changed our lives in a whole. From a handicraft industry to a machine work industry has helped us to create products in great bulk but at a cheaper price. It has helped us to create goods faster so that we could sell our products outside of Manchester.
