Our Classroom; A Statement of Purpose Our classroom will be a positive, considerate place of learning that encourages academic excellence and respect for others. All students will strive to do their best, both in academics and behavior, and support the success of everyone in our classroom.
Scene 3 The classroom has added some desks and chairs. The desks and chairs begin to multiply, and rearrange themselves in beautiful and whimsical ways. They stop when they have achieved the optimal arrangement for student navigation, visibility, access, and learning.
Scene 4 A blank classroom poster. The Phantom Caligrapher is again at work: words begin to appear....
Classroom Rules Be respectful Be responsible Be safe
Note: In the sequel, a more detailed list of rules will be created with both teacher and student input.
Scene 5 Another blank slate (large pad of lined paper), upon which are written, carefully and earnestly by the Phantom, the procedures the students will follow day in and day out....
