- I will not tolerate the usage of plastic bags. It has a major impact on our environment. It takes many years to decompose them. Toxic substances are released into the soil when plastic bags perish under sunlight. We must use eco-bags instead of plastic bags. Ecobags are not only recycling material that would be going to waste, but they also eliminate the need for single-use plastics bags that has proven to harm the environment.
- We will have a program about a tree planting activity. As a mayor, I am encouraging you to plant trees. We have all the materials needed to plant a tree. Planting trees has a lot of benefits to our community. First, trees help us to absorb and sink the carbon dioxide that would contribute to global heating/warming. Second, trees reduce the amount of water storm runoff, which reduces the risks of erosion and pollution. Can you join us at the Plant A Tree Program?
