  • Throwing the book at the teacher
  • ("My school and tribe are so poor that we have to study from the same dang books our parents studied from.
  •  Talking with Gordy for the first time
  • Listen Gordy, i know you are a genius and all. but you are one weird dude.
  • I'm quite aware of my differences. I wouldn't classify them as weird.
  • The School Dance
  • ("Penelope and i were so happy to be alive, as so happy to be aliive TOGETHER, even if we were only a semi hot item and we danced to every single dance.
  • This scene is the start of Juniors journey to leave the reservation and go to a better school. He is so mad at using the same books as his parents and his tribe being poor he decides to go to a new school.
  • This is the first time that Junior makes a friend at his new school and really connects with someone. This makes him more open to meeting new people after and improves his mood in school.
  • Junior going to the dance is a huge boost for his self-esteem, while also making him connect with more people. Penelope and Roger finding out he is poor lets him feel even more safe in school after, being open with more people
