Storyboard Description

In our Story board we illustrate the occurrence of Open and Closed Injuries. Open Injuries- in which there is a break in the surface of the skin or the mucous membrane, exposing the deeper tissues to potential contamination. Closed Injuries- in which soft tissue damage occurs as a result of thermal heat, frictional heat, toxic chemicals, electricity, or nuclear radiation. Wounds heal in a process directed toward the large goal of homeostasis. the body may not return back to the pre- injury state but return to a functional state as the goal. Enjoy our story board and lets talk about the details of closed and open injuries, the physiology and pathophysiology
