  • Exposition
  • Conflict
  • Rising Action

  • Climax
  • The narrator despises his roommates ¨vultures¨ eye even though his eye is covered with a film.
  • Falling Action
  • The narrator went in his room every night over a 8 day period. He goes into the old mans room every night with a lantern waiting for his vulture eye to show itself.
  • Resolution
  • After the 7 day period,on the 8th day the narrator finally saw the old mans vulture eye--wide open. He dragged the old man out of bed and the old man shrieked...loudly. The narrator then began to cutthe old man into pieces and afterwards he opened the floor board and places the old mans pieces in there and places the floor board back into place where no human eye, not even his eye could not tell.
  • On that 8th day when the old man screamed, the neighbors heard. The neighbors were afraid something happened and they called the cops. The cops arrived narrators home and went in. The narrator was being very cocky and let them in and made themselves feel at home.
  • The narrator set this up so well that no one would notice what he has done. After making the officers at home they became suspicious. He was constantly hearing things in his head because the officers were not leaving his home. He was so afraid that he admitted to his crimes and went to jail.
