Storyboard Text

  • There are so many things about the media, Ly. You've got to be specific
  • That's quite easy to answer.
  • Hey sis, what do you think about media in the Philippines?
  • Then how about your opinion with how Philippine Media performs its roles and functions in the Philippines?
  • If it weren't for the Media, the filipinos wouldn't have had EDSA Revolution and we would still be under dictatorship.
  • Media is fascinating, you'll never know if it could lead to a revolution
  • Or during Rizal's Period, if he hadn't written a book (which is also a kind of media), the rebellion against the Spaniards wouldn't happen.
  • Well you see, Media has been a big help to our ancestors and grandparents before.
  • HUH?
  • Thanks to the media, our countrymen were able to fight for the freedom of the country.
  • Think of it this way then, we all know that media is the source of all information.
  • Our means of communication and socialization.
  • The Philippine Media back then really stick to their roles even when they were being threatened at gun's point.
  • I don't think I get what you're trying to saying...
  • Well, we do get updates with the COVID cases but other than that, media nowadays are for entertainment.
  • Now you're talking about Media Suppression, we can talk about it another time.
  • Though news about COVID isn't much talked in the news as I expected -
  • Well, what about now?
  • We would have alot if journalist weren't required to have passes just to get a cover news for COVID.
  • Instead they show us celebrities and how they live in the new normal in the news.
  • Now to answer your question, I don't really think the media is doing a good job at it's role.
  • We need necessary information with the pandemic going on.
  • You could've just gotten straight to the point without having to explain those things earlier, you know?
  • 'Til Next time!!BYE!!
