  • After the trials, guilty people were sent to dungeons or burned at the stake.
  • Almost anyone put on trial was found guilty.
  • The importance was to make Spain a catholic place.
  • Since jews and muslims were being forced out of their land, various uprisings and revolutions happened
  • Most of spain remains catholic to this day.
