Rosa Parks got on the bus after a long day of work. The bus soon became full, the White Americans told Rosa to move and give her seat up but she resisted and did not move. Because of this she was then arrested
The African American's became fuming because of this and they decided to stop taking the buses as transport until the bus company accepted to stop segregation on the bus.
The protest went on for 381 days. The bus company became low in money as the African Americas made up 75% of the bus's intake. so the bus company finally stood down and accepted to stop segregation on the buses.
