Exposition John the Carpenter, his wife Allison, and Nicholas the student are all members are villagers.
Conflict The problem is because of the age difference between John and Allison there is constant problems of Jealousy of other men. Nicholas the student being one of those men, with a scheme to win over Allison.
RISING ACTION Nicholas really wants to get with Allison so he devises a plan and tells Allison how it will work, and in her spite goes along with it to trick her old husband. Also a sneaky Clerk wants to get with Alison as well.
Climax Nicholas tricks John into thinking there will be another flood coming, and that he needs to save him and his wife, in order to get alone time with Allison. While the clerk calls for Allison even though she's not interested.
Allison my love, grant me a kiss.
Falling action John builds the group wooden tubs that allow them float so they sleep in them, however Nicholas and Allison wake up and go up to the bed room. The clerk still claiming his love to the window.
Finally some alone time.
Resolution Then the whole plan goes bad, when the Clerk kisses Nicholas's bottom as a joke. However Nicholas burns his bottom causes him to wake up not only John but the whole town. The towns only conclusion is that they are all a bunch of crazies.
