  • This is significant because when Creon is speaking to Teiresias  he says his luck is like a razors edge and it foreshadows Creons fall mentally.
  • What? What you’ve just said makes me nervous.
  • Then know this—your luck is once more on fate’s razor edge.
  • The chorus leader says this and this influences Creon's actions to kill Antigone which would have been a big problem if she had not hang herself.
  • This is your advice? You think I should concede?
  • Go and release the girl from her rock tomb Then prepare a grave for that unburied corpse.

  • Out of no where the messenger tells the chorus leader that the son of Creon, which is Haemon, is dead.
  • They're dead
  • Have you come with news of some fresh troublein our house of kings?
  • The messenger is telling Eurydice and the people about how he seen Polyneices' body laying there in blood. This is significant because it's a death of a main character
  • Dear lady, I’ll speak of what I saw vomitting not one detail of the truth.
  • This point in Antigone is the absolute climax. This is when Creon sees his son, Haemon, laying there dead covered in blood.
  • So sad … so sad  the wretched agony of human life. [
  • In Antigone this is one of the most significant moments overall. As Creon is carrying his dead son up the stairs he thinks over everything he's done and admits wrong.
