Storyboard Text

  • "O you hard hearts, you cruel men of Rome! Knew you not Pompey?"(I.i.40-41).
  • Why are you guys even here at Caesar's crowning? Why aren't you guys at work?
  • As Caesar fell down after the crowd was glad he refused the crown, he told the crowd that he was sick .
  • After Caesar got back up there was, "Three or four wenches where I stood cried 'Alas, good soul!' and forgave him with all their hearts"(I.ii.273-274).
  • "I will this night in several hands, in at his window throw, As if they came from several citizens, Writings, all tending to the great opinion, That Rome holds of his name..."(I.ii.319-322).
  • After Brutus receives the letters, it is either Caesar would be removed or we would suffer even more.
  • "Are you not moved when all the sway of earth...Did I go through a tempest dropping fire...too saucy with the gods, Incenses them to send destruction"(I.iii.3-13)
  • Did you see something that's so strange that clearly shows it is a sign from the god?
  • Caesar must die but it is for no personal causes, if he is crowned king, he would change and put Rome in danger because he is going to abuse his powers.
  • "And for Mark Antony, think not of him; For he can do no more than Caesar's arm"(II.i.181-182).
  • "Let Antony and Caesar fall together"(II.i.161)
  • "Recounts most horrid sights seen by the watch...Do not go forth to-day"(II.ii.15 and 50)
  • How foolish are your fears Calpurnia! I can't believe I actually listened to you. Now give me my robe and I'm gonna go to the Capitol.
