Ulysses was born a pretender. He pretends to be a beggar on his home island to get information. He finds that he is believed dead and his wife, Queen Penelope, is besieged by suitors who drink his wine and eat his food all day long. With the aid of his son, Telemachus, and two loyal subjects, Ulysses kills all the suitors. His wife tests him with a trick question that Ulysses answers correctly, and Ulysses regains his queen and throne. In twenty years, he had outwitted a cyclops, grappled with Poseidon, and escaped from the Sun. On this day, he had killed two hundred men and regained a kingdom.
I give this book four stars because it was very interesting, but some parts were different from other sources that I read on the Odyssey.
