  • The Natural Order Hypothesis
  • With aquired language, there is a natural sequence to language development. Morphemes and syntax are picked up when we are ready.
  • With learned language, natural sequences are often disrupted. Mistakes with morphemes and syntax (and conjugation!) are easily made because we learn through textbooks before we are ready.
