The google definition of lasers is a device that generates an intense beam of coherent monochromatic light by stimulated emission of photons from excited atoms.
What is a laser? I mean i've heard of laser tag but never knew what it truly is.
Mirrors are reflective surfaces used everyday life.
But most people don't take into consideration how mirrors truly work and the different types of mirrors out there.
There are convex, concave and regular mirrors. We are going to use a laser to show how the mirrors differ from each other but first, lets explain the different use for lasers.
So we are going to point one at a regular mirror and if we do it correctly, it should bounce back and reflect diagonally from where it is pointing at the mirror.
Lasers can be used as a scalpel during surgery, they are used to read CD's and also for welding purposes.
Concave mirrors make things appear larger and closer. When a laser points at the mirror it'll bounce off straight.
What about convex?
Convex mirrors make things appear smaller so you can view a large group of things in one imagine. When a laser hits the mirror it remains close to the mirror.
