Hello my name is Charles Robert Darwin. I'm an English naturalist and geologist, best known for my contributions to evolutionary theory.
I was born in Shrewsbury, England in 1809. At the age of 16 I studied medicine at Edinburgh University. I found out that surgery was not my calling and I started studying to be a clergyman at Christ College, Cambridge. I obtained my degree in Theology in 1831.
I started out on my Andes expedition. First sighting of the Galapagos Archipelago. HMS Beagle sails to Tahiti, New Zealand, Australia. From South Africa to England.
Adaptation is the action or adapting or being adapted.
evolution is the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth.
Natural selection is the process whereby organisms better adapted to their environment tend to survive and produce more offspring. The theory of its action was first fully expounded by me and is now believed to be main process that brings about evolution.
