Climax (pretend this is a bazaar, I couldn't find anything even close)
Araby takes place during winter in 1800s Dublin, where life is drab and monotonous. The boy lives with his uncle and aunt in a 2 story house apart from the rest of the block. The boy spends most of his time thinking of a girl.
The boy finally talks to the girl of his dreams. She tells him how she wants to go to the bazaar, but she can't because she has to go to a retreat in her covent. Attempting to win her over, he jumped on the opportunity to tell her he would go to get her a gift.
The boy arrives at the bazaar late due to his uncle forgetting. There is barely anyone there and most of the shops are closed, he approaches one of the open stalls to buy something for the girl. The shopkeeper asks if he wants anything in a condescending tone, disappointed, the boy said no.
