- Today I get to vote in my first election!
- Me too! It is so nice to have a voice. Let's finish up here and head to the voting polls.
- I am nervous. Are you sure our votes will count?
- All right. Then let's go vote!
- Of course. In a democracy, the citizens are the one who determines who our leaders will be.
- Meanwhile...
- Today is the day. I find out if the people will re-elect me at their congressman.
- It has been a close race. Now it is up to the citizens to decide who will be their next representative.
- We did it! We voted for our next congressman!
- Now we have to wait and see what the results are.
- It feels good to have the right to vote for our leaders.
- The result are in... and we have a new congressman!
- It was a tough loss, but the citizens have spoken. Congrats.
- Thank you! It is an honor to be voted by the people. I will do my job and listen to the citizens.
