  • Treaty of versailles, was a document that was signed by the German and the Alliled Powers following the World War 1 that officially ended the war. 
  • Treaty of Versailles  Signed by:  Germany     Great Britan, The United States, China, Soviet Union
  • The Treaty of Versailles was signed June 28, 1919. It is a very important peace treaty that ended the war. It reassinged German boundaries and they took the blame for starting the war.
  • Trety of Versailles 1919
  • Once Germany signed the document they had to pay back all the damages from the war, that they had started. 
  • Allied Powers, were tired of Germany and they all came to an agreedment that Woorow Willson, wrote with other impoertant politicans David George, George Clemenceau.
  • they need to pay for what they started...
  • Germany took the blame for starting the war, and agreed to sign the Treaty of Versailles. Germany had consequences for starting the war.
  • we dont have another option..
  • The Allied Powers agreed that Germany had to pay, $33billion(US). They also cut its army to 100,000 men, only 6 battels no submariens or airforce.
