  • James, Food safety is a scientific discipline describing handling, preparation, and storage of food in ways that prevent food-borne illness
  • Ana, while Food storage is the process in which both cooked and raw materials are stored in appropriate conditions for future use without any entry or multiplication of microorganisms.
  • Food spoilage is caused by microorganisms for e.g. yeast,mold and bacteria. Another way in which food spoilage is caused is by natural decay for e.g. moisture loss and by the actions of enzymes which causes ripening and browning of foods.
  • If we don't store food spoilage may occur food spoilage is the process in which food deteriorates to the point in which it is not edible to humans or its quality of edibility becomes reduced
  • James, there are two categories of nutrients that the body need they are macro nutrients, these are nutrients needed in the body in large amounts for e.g. protein and sodium and micro nutrients are those needed in the the body in small amount e.g. iodine and fatty acids
  • Ana there are also three types of multi-mix principles there are double mix, triple mix and quadri-mix  an e.g. of a double mix is rice and peas and and e.g. of triple mix is rice and peas with chicken
