Little Red Cap, a sweet young girl who wears red, and her mother discuss the cake and wine she must bring to her sick grandmother.
Mother warns Little Red Cap to be careful in the woods. She tells her not to leave the path and to use her good manners. Little Red Cap promises to obey and sets off into the woods.
Little Red Cap encounters the wolf who asks where she is going. The wolf finds out about Little Red Cap's grandmother and where she lives. Little Red Cap disobeys her mother and leaves the path to look for flowers. The wolf then finds grandmother's house and eats her up!
Little Red Cap arrives to Grandmother's house and notices that she looks very strange. The wolf eats Little Red Cap.
The Huntsman hears the wolf snoring and decides to cut him open to save the grandmother. Out pops not only Grandmother but Little Red Cap also.
The huntsman filled the wolf with stones, and the wolf died. Now, the three of them were happy. The huntsman took the wolf's pelt. Grandmother ate her cake and wine. Little Red Cap promised to never disobey her mother again.
