Storyboard Text

  • I am Chloe and I am a water molecule and it has been very hot outside lately. The sun has been beaming. I think I might take a short swim.
  • I go in the water and it is SO refreshing. Sooner or later I feel myself getting hotter and hotter. Had fallen asleep, I look down and I'm high in the air I yell "help help" no one was there to save me. Soon I started to get closer and closer and I realized that I was not a molecule anymore. I was water vapor! This process is called evaporation.
  • Woah
  • In this case, the sun is making the water very hot and gravity is not part.
  • When condensation happens and it falls back to the ground it can be in the form of snow, sleet, hail, and rain.
  • Wow, there is a lot more water vapor in these clouds than I thought. these clouds are pretty heavy. Woah, I can't see anything. I think I am falling down and turning back into a water molecule. This process is called condensation.
  • For transpiration to happen I as a water molecule have to be absorbed into the flowers roots.
  • YAY!! I can finally see the ground. A few seconds later I finally land on fresh soil. Me landing on the soil allows me to travel through the flower allowing it to grow.
  • I rolled down a mountain into a pile of rocks with lots of water. The water must not have gotten evaporated. This process can also be called infiltration. I was so relieved to get to some water, but suddenly all of the rocks had fallen.
  • This is me and to continue the transpiration. I finally get to the top of the plants where the leaves are and I, unfortunately, fall off of it. "Ahh," I said as I fell off the plant.
  • Then soon after I fell off of the rocks I fell into the ocean. Once there is another very hot day the whole process will start over again. The water cycle will always go on.
