Newtons first law states that an object in motion stays in motion and an object at rest stays at rest.
When you roll the bowling ball down lane the ball will continue to roll down the lane till it hits the pins and the back wall.
Newtons Second law states The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force, and inversely proportional to the mass of the object.
When the ball will knock over the pins. The ball accelerate as it rolls down the lane and will knock over the pins depending on how much force you use.
When you bowl the ball the about a force applied to the ball will be the same amount of force that hits the pins and hopefully knocks them down.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
