Some students were so excited about their IB Theatre Project they had arrived early to class
But Cedric was worried!
I will never be able to perform on my own and write such a difficult report!
Mrs A wasn't worried!
Cedric, let's work this out.
Research a Theatre Theorist that you find exciting! Identify one aspect that is interesting to you Formulate your intentions using that aspect to deliver your message, theme or idea
Create, design, direct and perform your 7-10 minute piece to an invited audience and enjoy a talkback with the audience seeing how your intentions have been successful or surprising! Your performance will be filmed. Record your practical explorations in your journal and plan out your writing of your report as you go through the process.
Your report consists of: Explaining the context of your chosen theatre theorist and what aspect you are working on (1100 words) Writing about your intentions for the performance working with the inspiration of this aspect (300 words) Evaluating the success of your performance set against your intentions and the audience talkback (1100 words)
