  • George and Lennie have reached their destination, but decided to stay in the woods for one night. Lennie wants ketchup and George doesn't have any.
  • Climax
  • George ain't gonna let me tend the rabbits!
  • Curley is intimidated by Lennie because he is bigger, and George doesn't ike Curley. Curley's wife is seen as very flirtatious, but Curley stays with her.
  • Falling Action
  • You ain't fit to tend no rabbits.
  • Lennie has just broken Curley's hand, and Slim is telling Curley to lie to the boss and say that it was a machine.
  • Resolution
  • You hadda George.
  • Lennie is scared that Curley's wife will so he shakes her and tells her to stop. While shaking her, he breaks her neck accidentally and kills her.
  • Lennie has run to the woods again because he knows that he did something bad. He envisions his aunt Clara and a giant rabbit who tell him that he did bad things and that he shoulf be better to George.
  • You never give a thought to George!
  • George finds Lennie in the woods while the men are searching for him. He knows that the other men will torture and kill him, so he decides to mercy kill him before they get there. Slim appears and tells George that it was the right thing to do.
