• well the spacecraft has a top speed of 39,000 km/h so we could use the formula d= v x t to find out how long it will take. ﻿
• we still need to figure out how far away the moon is from earth.
• 1 day; 42 minutes; 22 seconds TILL LAUNCH
• so we know that the maximum speed of the ship is 39,000 km/h﻿. So d= 39,000 x 259,200 seconds which is 3 days
• And we can't forget to change it to m/s. Therefore ﻿39,000x 3.6= 140,400 m/s
• 1 day; 40 minutes; 46 seconds TILL LAUNCH﻿
• ﻿that means that the distance to the moon is 3.639168 x 1010
• therefore the distance to the moon is ﻿36391680000 meters
