  • Mr. Murphy -- I'm not sure. Is this another one of your "real world" situations. You know, where we apply some of the math lessons we're learning. For example, how to pay for groceries and confirm your change is correct.
  • Yes, Kiera! Here at the grocery store, the goal is for everyone to be able to do something with math and I hope we answer the question "What can you do with subtraction and addition in everyday life?
  • Stage 1-- Identify desired results
  • Main Focus- ensure learning goals are stated in key accomplishments which reflect understanding
  • In Stage 2, we'll use specific performance tasks to see evidence of your understanding. Stage 3-- our class lessons and activities are based on goals and assessment of stage 1 and 2.
