I have always been confused as of where I am from. Am I from Venezuela, Germany, China, the US?
I have blonde hair, and brown eyes. I look more like my dad, who is from Germany. Yet, when I say I am from Venezuela, people look at me in confusion.
Where am I from?
Some people assume I can't speak Spanish.
I have learned to accept it
"Hola, como estas?"
"Hello! How are you?"
As I grow up, I finally understand that where I am from, is everywhere. Living around the world has shaped who I am, due to all the cultures I have experienced.
"Ready for our next adventure?"
I could say I'm unique. But everyone is a mix of cultures. Coming from a latin background, family is very important to me. Having lunch each Sunday with my grandparents and cousins and uncles.
