Guess it's time to start chopping for the economy.
Addressing the issues
Just let me chop em down!
I'm afraid i can't let you do that.
The rain forests are home to more than half of all animal species. Biodiversity is declining because of urbanization. Oxisols is a dry soil that you cant grow things on. Ecosystems are deteriorating. Any one crop makes the soil even worse. Ranching is a large part of south america, which causes erosion. We cause desertification.
There is a wide wage gap. There is such a large urbanization problems, in some parts of certain cities, almost all the homes touch, and they are all in terrible shape. They have no electricity or sewage. In Peru large amount of gold went unacounted for, almost killing Peru's GDP.
Rainforests are rapidly being destroyed, and we need to stop it. South America also has an incredibly huge population, and is still growing. Efforts are being made to help the environment, but that is extremely difficult and it will cost lots of people lots of money.
