  • Let go to war and beat these peskey Germans!!
  • Our soilders are starving! we need another shipment from the mainland!
  • U.S troops have shortages of food and drinks.
  • We need the US citizens to start rationing there consumables
  • At the beginning of the war US citizens rushed to enlist and go to war for their country.
  • How do you like the new food?
  • I LOVE it! i hear the folks back home are rationing their food for us! Thank goodness.
  • Durning the war food, gas, tires, and other things were becoming harder to get. On top of that the convys that would deliver the goods would get sunken by enemy ships and submarines.
  • They are broken! Round them up men1!
  • Retreat men! Retreat!
  • In the spring of 1942 FDR signed the food rationing program. This new program would urge citizens of the homeland to ration everything. This in turn would leave more for the soilders.
  • The treaty has been signed and Hitler has been defeted!
  • war is over! Allies win!
  • Because of the rationing soilders wouldn't be hungery and could have more food to fight the war.
  • Other countries set up food rationing systems, but while they helped the soilders still starved and the civilians even more. However, the US while rationing also started cultivating food. This made it possible to provide each soilder a staggering 4,500 calorie ration each day. This gave soilders strength in battle
  • After the war some soilder said that because of rationing, the US soilders had energy to fight. and inturn helped them win.
