- In English we watch videos of plastics being polluted and how it effects us. We work in our English folder and answer questions about the videos we watch. Plastic pollution is the title of our project. Also on Mondays we work on power focus areas and addition focus areas. Some days we work on a fun activity like kahoot or blooket.
- Period 4
- In Spanish we do our 5 al dia which is when you rewrite sentences from English to Spanish. Then we usually take notes and share what we wrote. We also watch videos in Spanish and rewrite it in English. We sing songs to remember nouns and verbs.
- Period 5
- In History we read about the past and answer a sheets of paper to take a power focus area. If we`re done with that we work on additional focus areas. We also do big projects that have checkpoints that involve about three worksheets. At the end of the quarter we watch a video about people fighting and we guess who would win. If we`re done with everything we get free time.
- Period 6
- In math class we take out our packets we get every unit and go on the page that is on the board. We get about 3 mins of private think time to solve a problem on our own. Then we`ll get about 2 minutes to talk with our partner and work with them. We also do checkpoints in summit. Also we use bit.ly to work on problems our teacher assign.
- In science class we do projects like matter matters and explore molecules. Another project we worked on was positive prevention plus where we learn about birth control and ways to prevent having kids. We also were told place we can get help and receive testing without it being known.
- In PE class we place our stuff in the lockers and enter the gym. we go in our spots and wait for instructions . We either go out side or stay inside and stretch. Every Thursday we run a mile. We sometimes get free time.
