Let me tell you on how I got to this place. I got kicked out of my school went to New York and for a whole week I've been going around having an adventure meeting new people and catching up with old friends.
One of the main themes of the book was childhood and growing up and how Holden was very affected by the many different things that had happened throughout his childhood.
This scene is from page 43 when Holden finally starts talking about allie and how big of an impact allie had on him and his family and how he loved him so much and how great of a person he was . This connects to the theme because allie was apart of his childhood and he was there when holden was growing up
This is a scene from chapter 11 when holden was talking alot more about Jane and how they would hangout all the time and this connects to the childhood and growing up theme because jane was one of the main things that was always there for him and jane is still always on his mind now.
