Toby woke up and he had a new mother. He was a new dog. An owner came outside every day to feed them, but one day let them come out of the cage. Toby had learned from his old mother how to open gates, so he opend it and left.
When the dog went out into the street, a man picked him up and named him Fella. The man took him to a gas station where he went in but didn't come back. Then, a lady showed up and took him and rushed to her house to save him.
The woman took him to see a boy named Ethan. The moment they saw each other, they knew they were connected. Ethan named the dog Bailey, and they did everything together. They both loved each other.
Each summer, Bailey and Ethan had gone to the farm with his grandparents. On those days, his favorite things to do with Bailey was play rescue. Ethan would jump in the lake and Bailey would pull him up.
Ethan grew up. A neighbor named Todd was jealous of Ethan and everything he got. Todd didn't know why he did it, but he set Ethan's house on fire. While Bailey attacked Todd, Ethan had to jump out the window. He didn't jump far enough and landed in the fire.
Ethan suffered major injuries from the fire, and Bailey was getting old. They had to take him to the vet, and Bailey was put to rest as once again he felt the waves of peace overtake him.
