Hi! My name is Corrine and I am here to tell you about my toy store! Did you know that toy stores are systems too? In this system, money is the input and the toys, such as basketballs, stuffed animals, speakers, puzzles, art supplies and airplanes are the output.
Customers pay an amount of money, such as $5 for a puzzle or $2 for a stuffed bear, and get a product in return. The transaction is where the exchange of the inputs and outputs of the system happen. Customers pay a sum of money to get a toy in return.
Customers can affect this system buy choosing to buy a toy for a sum of money. But, they can choose to go to a different store. This could mean my toy store could lose a customer.
That will be $13.50...Thank you for coming in! Merry Christmas!
Humans can affect this system by asking customers what they are interested in. They can sometimes influence customers spending by being nice or rude. These human behaviors can affect the system.
This box of airplanes is $10. We also have a remote control airplane for $35 or three smaller airplanes for $15.
Thank you for letting me show you around my store! See you soon!
