Storyboard Text

  • 1.All Atoms are indivisible and indestructible 2. All Matter of a given element are identical in mass and properties. 3. Compounds are form by combining two different kind of atoms. 4. A Chemical reaction is a rearrangement of atoms
  • John Dalton
  • I disapproved with Atom is indivisible. Using the Cathode Ray Tube Atom I discovered that it has negative particles called Electron and possibly it can have a positive particle.
  • JJ Thompson
  • Rutherford
  • Using the Gold Foil Experiment i discover that some particles did not went through because of the Nucleus in the middle that is made of positive charge called the proton. I call this the Planetary model
  • "Planetary model" is how planets move like the electrons in the model around the nucleus
  • Improving the the planetary model i propose that the Electrons around nucleus in a specific layer and and has a specific number of electron in a atom.
  • I call it the " Bohr Model"
  • Niels Bohr
  • While i was working with Rutherford I discover that there are particles with no charge. I call it Neutron and it is found in the nucleus with the Protons
  • James Chadwick
  • The Modern Quantum Electron Cloud Model tell us that the nucleus is made up of Protons and Neutrons. The Electron is a cloud because it is hard to exactly know the place of the electron
  • We can know the number of protons, electron and neutron using the Atomic number and mass number of a element. Having the atomic number is equals to protons and electron because proton and electron are mostly the same. You will know the neutron by subtracting the Atomic number and the mass number
