Dear aunt Martha You'll never believe it! Last night, a mob went to the lieutenant governor's house. They burned his books and papers, stole his money, and even took his sister and daughtor's clothes and put them on for fun! I think their anger is reasonably founded due to the taxation, however these barbaric acts make us no better than those who dictate us. Fighting fire with fire will not lead to victory. This attack will only strengthen the resolve of the king, and it won't make things easier. However an alternative has yet to present itself, so until then I remain passive on the matter.
