-Isaac Newton was the greatestand most influential scientist who ever lived -Born in Woodsthorpe, England on christmas 1642 -Same year that Gailileo died -Born after the death of his father.
-As a child, he showed considerable mechanical aptitude -He was very clever with his hands. -Even though he was very bright, He was inattentive in school. -As a teenager, His mother took him out of school hoping he would become a successful farmer -Fortunately, His mom was persuaded to let him go to school, were he later enrolled at Cambridge
-There he rapidly absorbed what was known of science and mathematics -After this he soon moved on to publishing his own theories -Between his 21st and 27th years he laid foundations for scientific theories that revolutionized the world -His first discovery was on the nature of light. -he also invented Calculus, and stated that mechanics is the science of how things move
-One of his most important discoveries was when he published the three laws of gravity -One of these includes the law that states for each action there is an equal and opposite reaction -He presented these laws in his book principia -Newton found science as a Hodgepodge of facts and laws, and He left science as a unified system of laws -
Throughout his life newton's discoveries changed six different areas such as technology, Economics, Politics, Religion, Art, and philosphy -In 1727, he was honored as the first scientist to be buried at Wwestminister Abbey
