Storyboard Text

  • Foil in "The Rocket."
  • Tis is a rich man's world, Bodoni. You need to be rich to be able to go into a rocket.
  • I saved my money so I could go in a rocket.
  • Protagonist:Bodoni
  • Protagonist's Foil: Bramante
  • Foil is the character that shows contrast in the story, like how Bramante is trying to persuade Bodoni that he won't be able to go in a rocket because to go into a rocket, Bodoni needs to be rich.
  • Bodoni is a positive character that is also fair. A quote from "The Rocket by Ray Bradbury" is that shows Bodoni's positivity is " "Yes, yes!" He seized the man's arm, bewildered. (Bradbury 272)" A quote that shows that Bodoni is fair is """Here", said Bondoni unhappily. From a broom he broke stawsof various lengths. "The short straw wins.(Bradbury 270)"
  • e Bramante is a negative, yet also persuasive character.  A quote from "Ray Bradbury's, The Rocket" is ""Fool" cried Bramante. "You'll never go. This is a rich man's world. (Bradbury 267)" A quote that shows Bramante's persuasive trait is ""How will you choose? Who will go? If you go, your wife will hate you, for you wil be just a bit nearer to god in space. (Bradbury 267)"
