  • Acid rain is when Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide emissions react with water vapor in the atmosphere and form acids that return to the surface as either dry or wet deposition . Factories and cars are just two of the biggest contributors to Acrid rain and So2 and No2 emmsions.
  • The aquatic life is declining because of acid rain. Its mostly effecting lakes and streams and marshes. The acid rain gets into the aquatic environment then leeches into the water from aluminum to clay particles and then effects the aquatic population in the environment.
  • Forest are also dying because of acd rain. An example is the black forest in germany its 50% destroyed. Acid rain damages forest and trees because of the aluminum that gets into the soil it is harmful to trees and plants even if there is very limited contact also acid rain doesnt kill the trees it just harms them.
