How Much Land Does a Man Need- Macapagal
This storyboard does not have a description.
PART 2: In this scene, Pahom is stating that all of his neighbors are buying new land and he isn't getting anything. This influences the theme because it shows how Pahom claims that he needs land in order to be successful. Later he will realize the struggles it takes in order to get his land that he wants (or wealth).
The land is all being sold and I shall get none of it." So he spoke to his wife. "Other people are buying land," he said, "and we must also buy twenty acres or so.
PART 6: Pahom gets to the Bashkir's and the Chief explains how his land is sold (by the day and as much as he can cover in one day). This influences the theme because it makes Pahom realize he can have all the land he can get as long as he can walk the distance in a day .
We sell it by the day. As much as you can go round on your feet in a day is yours, and the price is one thousand roubles a day."
PART 9: After the long day of Pahom trying to get all of the land, he is able to do so. However, his struggle has resulted in his death. This influences and refines the theme because it shows how just because he has much wealth, is life didn't end in happiness.
He has earned much land! Pahóm's servant came running up and tried to raise him. He saw that blood was flowing from his mouth. Pahóm was dead!
