  • "Anything that you have would be appreciated." (6)
  • Ian is meeting Jack and he is giving him some pocket change. Little did he know, this homeless man would change his life.
  • "I think that I have some change in my pocket ... no much, but some." (6)
  • Ian is walking through the park when he gets stopped by three punks that try to rob all of his possessions. Jack stopped the punks and saves Ian and all of his belongings.
  • "Leave the kid alone!" (11)
  • "This ain't your business, you old rubby." (11)
  • Ian is interested in Sargent's life and how he became homeless. He questions Mac about him.
  • "Listen Ian all of my knowledge comes from the men that come in and they believe that he was a sergeant, that is why his nick name is Sargent." (18)
  • Ian's teacher, Mrs. Watkins would like Ian to interview a soldier, so that he can teach the class about the life on the battlefield.
  • "Ian we both know that you could use the extra marks, so will you interview a solider?" (24)
  • "Sure I will try." (24)
  • Ian decides to interview Jack/Sargent.
  • "I was a part of the U.N Peace-Keeping Battalion. Me and my boys were serving in Rwanda. What a mess." (56)
